Over a series of treatments, microneedling helps the skin become firmer and regain elasticity. This procedure is an excellent option for acne scarring, surgical scarring, burns, stretch marks.
Microneedling is an excellent option for almost anyone who wants to fight signs of aging and improve unwanted skin conditions. However, this procedure is not recommended for those who:
Have an acne breakout, open sores, an infection, or skin cancer in the treatment area
Have a bleeding disorder or wound healing issues
Are pregnant or nursing Are allergic to stainless steel
Are taking medication with isotretinoin in it
Have used Accutane® or isotretinoin for at least six months before microneedling
Before your microneedling procedure, a topical anesthetic cream will be applied to your skin. It takes about 30 minutes for your skin to become numb, but this will help with any discomfort during the treatment. Once you’re ready, your specialist will use a handheld microneedling device directly on your skin.
The device will move over your skin, administering the microneedles as it goes. As they penetrate your dermis and make tiny holes, the skin regeneration process is triggered. Microneedling feels like a small, sharp vibration which can be uncomfortable for some.
Others find it completely tolerable. Either way, we encourage you to let us know if you’re in discomfort. We can always adjust the needle depth. With a series of microneedling sessions, you’ll see your skin becoming firmer, healthier, and improved.
With microneedling, a device that contains tiny needles passes over the skin, creating microscopic punctures into the skin as it goes. The skin shifts its natural repair mechanism into high gear and starts producing collagen and elastin to repair these micro-punctures.

As soon as the microneedles create holes in the skin, your body’s wound repair process instantly begins disinfecting the holes. Debris is cleaned out, blood flow is boosted, and new tissue is created.
