We're the first practice in the state to have the latest version of the Solaria carbon dioxide (CO2) laser treatment platform by InMode.
The Solaria fractional laser can provide light resurfacing, moderate ablation, and deep ablation, depending on your skin concerns. The platform also features four tips, versatile scanning patterns, and other settings to give you exactly what you need for smoother skin.
The Solaria CO2 laser uses laser light to remove precise areas of the outer layers of skin and heat the deeper layers. This reveals the newer layer of skin underneath and stimulates the production of collagen for firmer, smoother, clearer skin.
The Solaria laser offers a faster healing time, fewer side effects, and more dramatic results than traditional CO2 lasers.
IPL therapy, also known as a photo facial, uses different wavelengths of pulsing light to improve the color and texture of your skin. IPL therapy is gentler on your skin than CO2 lasers, so it will have less downtime, but may require more treatment sessions.

Our team can determine if you’re a good candidate for laser skin resurfacing during a quick consultation. If you are, we can move forward with treatment. If you’re not, you can rest assured that we’ll have something else that will work for you. Beautiful skin starts with a consultation at our Baton Rouge med spa.
We will first apply a numbing cream to keep you comfortable throughout your laser skin resurfacing procedure. We may administer a mild sedative for a deeper treatment. Your laser technician will use a handheld device and move it along the treatment areas. This can take anywhere from 30-90 minutes, depending on the depth of the treatment and the size of the treatment area. We can then apply a protective cream and you can return home.
If you receive a light treatment, it will take about 7-10 days to heal, but you can wear makeup and return to work in 5-7 days. A moderate treatment requires a recovery period of 10-14 days, and you can return to work and wear makeup in 7-10 days. A deep treatment may take over three weeks to heal, but you can go back to work and wear makeup after about two weeks.
