Our Baton Rouge dermaplane exfoliation treatments are safe, non-invasive, and effective. A small blade is stroked across the skin to remove “peach fuzz”, as well as dead skin cells.
Is dermaplaning safe for any skin type?
Dermaplaning is an excellent option for all skin types, but not all skin conditions. If you have rosacea, active acne, or sensitive skin, we don’t recommend dermaplaning.
Does dermaplaning cause acne?
Just the opposite. Dermaplaning actually prevents acne because it exfoliates the skin, which clears out the pores.
I’m worried that dermaplaning will cause my peach fuzz to grow back darker or thicker.
Don’t worry. Peach fuzz is so soft and thin that dermaplaning has no effect on how it regrows.
